Tony has been involved in the care of animals for over 50 years and in February 1992 opened the doors of Home From Home Boarding Kennels & Cattery.

Since the age of 19 Tony has run successful businesses and is thankful this still holds true.  Prior to this Tony had worked for a number of companies from agricultural auctioneers to fruit importers

Putting to use his many years of experience in running his own businesses, Tony, along with wife Mandy, started by offering boarding customers a welcoming, friendly, family-led and flexible pet care service providing the dogs and cats in their care with all they'd need to have a happy and settled stay.  Tony believes that this was an important foundation to build initially for the business and has been instrumental to the success of Home From Home.

Over the years Tony has brought about many changes to the structure of the business and added new services such as pet grooming and pet supplies.

Tony also gives great importance to being 'hands on' and, along with wife Mandy, still works closely, every day, with pets in their care ensuring that the same level of care they provided over 16 years ago is still being offered today.

Tony's thoughts on the future are to see the business being successful in new areas of pet care such as dog training and the expansion of internet sales of pet supplies under new company Shop4Pets.co.uk.  He also hopes to be doing what he's doing today but maybe from a bit further away with the sun on his back.
