Lindsay May
Pet Care Supervisor

Lindsay attended a work experience placement initially with Home From Home in June 1998.  The company was so impressed with her professional attitude and love of pets that she was instated as a full-time Pet Care Assistant in August 1999.

Prior to this Lindsay was taking her G.C.S.E's and went on to study at Hull College in Leisure and Tourism.

Over the last 10 years Lindsay has been fundamental in providing high quality care to all the pets at Home From Home and as such was promoted to Pet Care Supervisor in 2002.  Within this role Lindsay has assisted in overseeing the care given to all pets by the company's Pet Care Assistant staff full-time and part-time alike and has ensured that all the pets in the comany's care are given individual care and attention.

In September 2004 Lindsay and James married and in December 2005 Lindsay gave birth to Jacob.  Lindsay returned to the company in September 2007 and has recently given birth to their second child, Elodie, in Septmeber 2009.

Lindsay has always been a pet-lover, caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, terrapins, stick insects and believe it or not, a pet slug.  Along with caring for peoples pets the best thing about working at Home From Home, Lindsay feels, is the close-knit family atmosphere.

Lindsay hopes that one day Jacob and Elodie will have the same love of animals that both her and James share and to join them as the third generation to provide an excellent standard of pet care.
